Richard Weidenaar

Richard G. "Rick" Weidenaar, age 78, US Army Vietnam War Veteran, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for 50 years to Sherry, nee Bargiel. Loving father of Robert R. (Jenny) Weidenaar and Richard D. (Amy L.) Weidenaar. Cherished grandfather of Ricky and Audrey. Devoted son of the late Robert and Margaret. Fond brother of Judith (Arnold) Gustafson, and the late Nancy.

Retired employee of Ford Motor Company with 45 years of service.

Visitation Monday, November 8, 2021 from 3:00 -7:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial with Military Honors on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL (please use the Central Ave. entrance).
