Richard B. Termaat

Richard B. TerMaat, 81, late of Palos Heights. Beloved son of his late parents, Jacob and Emma. Cherished husband for 58 years of Sherry (nee Benjamin). Devoted father of; Bradley (Karen), Tamara (late Robert) Lyerla, and Erik (Gina). Beloved grandfather of; Grace, Alyssa, Zoe, Jacob, Samantha, Zachary and Owen. Richard was a devoted Cubs fan and enjoyed watching and attending games while sharing his memorabilia with his family.  He worked as a multi-state truck driver for Meyer Steel Drum Co., and clocked many hours behind the wheel in a safe and lawful manner. In spite of his erratic hours, he ensured he attended his children's sports games and activities. He enjoyed gardening and attending to his yard.  The beauty of a rose bush, shade tree, and bountiful garden gave him happiness and pride. Visitation Sunday, August 25th., 2-8pm.  Interment private.
