Richard A. Overzet, Sr., age 85, passed away on September 17, 2023. Beloved husband for 61 years to the late Eloise Overzet, nee Rozema (2021). Loving father of Richard Jr. (Desiree), LouAnn (Laurence) Haan and David (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of Danielle Overzet, Richard (Kortney) Overzet, Alex (Cassie) Haan, Victoria (Drew) Black, Breanna Overzet, Celaine (Dylan) Van Vliet and Trent (Sarah) Overzet. Dearest great-grandfather of Grayden Overzet, Coleson Overzet, Louie Haan, Eloise Van Vliet, Hans Van Vliet, Sophia Black and Tate Overzet. Devoted son of the late John V. and Ralphina (nee Buikema) Overzet. Dearest brother of Phyllis (late Lloyd) DeVries and Nancy (late Thomas) Van Howe. Dear son-in-law of the late Fred and Lucy (nee VanderVelde) Rozema. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
