Richard R. Nemeth, age 73, of Chicago passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, Illinois. Loving brother of Steve (Marge) Nemeth and Rita (Barry) Pastewski. Wonderful and fun uncle to Sarah (Brandon) Redmond, Jason (Nancy) Pastewski, and Bryan (Erin) Nemeth. Cherished great-uncle to Jacob, Mya, Rylan, Oliver, and Hazel. A very special friend to Bill and Meaghan, Bob and Beverly and Vince and Dolores. Preceded in death by his devoted parents Raymond and Josephine (nee Ardizzone) Nemeth.
Richard was born February 8, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Rich retired from Dart Corporation formally Sweetheart Cup, in 2013 after 40 plus years. He was an avid reader, writer, musician and enjoyed being a jokester. He loved Chicago sports teams and college football. He was also a huge fan of music and concerts, theater, shows, classic movies, and attending Chicago's finest venues. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed.
