Richard Hutchison

Richard L. "Dick" Hutchison, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home on June 25, 2021, after a 25-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Beloved husband for 55 years to Joan, nee Henrickson. Loving father of Roger (Sara) Hutchison and Mindy Hutchison. Cherished grandfather of Reese, Avery and Quinn. Dear brother of Nancy (late Mori) Anvari, Judy (late Roy) Scarbrough, Mary Chapman and the late Linda Williams. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Dick was a general practice attorney for over 50 years in Tinley Park, IL--most recently with Hutchison, Anders & Hickey Law Offices. Dick’s many proud accomplishments included his service as a Trustee for the University of Illinois YMCA and Southwest YMCA, a founding member of the Tinley Park Kiwanis Club, Member of the Endowment Committee and Executive Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Chair of the Scholarship Committee of the South Suburban Bar Association, and as Chairman and long-time member of the Illinois State Bar Association Human Rights Section Council. And boy could he dance !
