Richard J. "Rich" "Heinz" Huisenga, age 76, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Julie Huisenga, nee Laughlin "808 I Love You More". Loving father of Jilian (Anthony) Ziccardi. Cherished grandfather of Adison and A.J. Dear brother of Donald (Ruth) Huisenga, Barbara (Ronald) Schutt, Patricia (late William) Tellano, Debra (Richard) Wiltjer, Kenneth (Valerie) Huisenga, David (Beth) Huisenga and Thomas (Darlene) Huisenga. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Rich retired after a dedicated career with Vans Redi Mix. A true sports fan, he especially loved softball where he earned the nickname "Heinz". He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and found daily strength in reading the Bible.

Visitation Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
