Richard Dykstra

Richard C. Dykstra, age 94, U.S. Navy WWII Veteran, beloved husband of Camille Mary Dykstra, nee Calpino, and the late Marilyn R. Dykstra, nee Beukema (1982). Devoted son of the late Tjerk and Tilly (nee DeVries) Dykstra. Loving father of Richard (Wendy) Dykstra, William (Diane) Dykstra, Michael Amato and Richard (Terry) Amato. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Smith, Ryan (Ebony) Dykstra and Nicole Amato. Dearest great-grandfather of Parker, Hanna and Ella Smith; Benji Dykstra; and Olivia Amato. Dear brother of Cornelius (Eldene) Dykstra and the late Clarence Dykstra, Gertrude Boss and Hilda Munk. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Richard was retired from Great Lakes Disposal.

Visitation Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
