Ricardo "Ricky" Espinoza

Ricardo "Ricky" Espinoza, age 41, passed away and will be forever remembered for the laughter, warmth, and unforgettable spirit he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

Ricky was the father of Angelina Espinoza. He was the cherished son of Rosa (née Perez) and Juan Espinoza Sr.; the loving brother of Rosa Espinoza, Juan J (Sarah Henery) Espinoza, Erika (James) Faught, and Natalie Espinoza; and the proud uncle of Mayleen, Jeffrey, Penelope, Emmett, Noah, London, Ellie, and Bellah. He was the treasured grandson of Juan and Josefina Espinoza and the late Hector and the late Trinidad Perez. He was also a beloved nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence left a lasting impression on many.

To know Ricky was to know laughter. He had an infectious smile, a playful sense of humor, and a personality that could brighten any room. He loved making people laugh and had a way of making even ordinary moments memorable. His sense of humor, quick wit, and easygoing nature made him someone people genuinely enjoyed being around.

Music was one of Ricky’s greatest passions and was a constant part of his life. Whether listening to his favorite songs or simply enjoying the moment, music brought him joy. He also loved cooking and took pride in preparing meals for family and friends whenever he had the chance. It was one of the many ways he showed his generosity and care for others.

Ricky’s life touched many people in different ways, and he was loved more than he probably ever realized. Those who knew him will remember his smile, his jokes, his love of music, and the way he could make people laugh when they needed it most. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will live on through the stories shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love of those who will carry him in their hearts forever.

Though Ricky’s time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever. His laughter will continue to echo in the stories we tell, his smile will remain in our hearts, and his spirit will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem), Orland Park, IL, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
