Rebecca was a truly happy soul—genuine, creative, and she listened like your heart was the most important thing in the world. A devoted dog mom to Wesley and a proud plant mama to a thriving jungle of green, she found joy in the natural world and peace in her own spiritual journey. Rebecca had a gift for listening without judgment, loving without conditions, and showing up for others when they needed it most. She was funny, deeply authentic, and strong enough to make it through 100% of her hardest days. She baked from the heart, volunteered without needing recognition, and walked through life focused on growth, healing, and the beauty of becoming.
To know her was to feel seen.
To love her was to be changed.
Rebecca was born on June 2, 1994 to Lisa Westerveld and Dean Kuiper, and lived a life defined by creativity, compassion, and quiet resilience. She was the second of four siblings and held a special bond with each: her sister Melissa Doran (Gabe Doran), her sister Angela Robinson (Taylor Kuhnle), and her brother Benjamin Kuiper (Morgan Thomsen). She was a deeply adored Tía to Rowan and Isabella Doran, a beloved cousin whose presence made family feel like home, and a cherished friend to many.
She believed in becoming “better every day”—not through perfection, but through presence, reflection, and staying true to herself. Her journey wasn’t always easy, but it was undeniably beautiful
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. Psalm 23:2

In lieu of flowers, Rebecca would want you to care for a plant, walk barefoot in the grass, or bake something sweet for someone who’s having a hard day. She lived with love. Let us do the same.
