Born in Chicago on May 7, 1933, the son of George and Francis Leka. He is survived by his son George (Patricia), grandchildren George, Patrice, Kathy, Diane, Cheryl, Steven and Samantha; as well as 14 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mae, his ex wife and mother of his four children Carol, daughter Pamela, sons Philip and Christopher, granddaughter Jessica and great-great granddaughter Sophia.
A memorial gathering will be held on November 23, 2024 at the Elks Lodge, located at 10720 Central Avenue in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, from 1pm to 6pm.
