August 28, 1923 — February 21, 2022

Raymond P. Dering, age 98, WWII US Army Veteran. Beloved husband for 74 years to Jean, nee Prince. Loving father of Barbara (Tom) Miles. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Becky) Tomasek. Dearest great-grandfather of Grant. Survived by his brother Roger Dering and preceded in death by sisters, Aldena Osika, Marilyn Schultz, Joan Mielke, Emily Williams, and his brother Ben. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Ray was active in real estate and insurance in the Roseland area and Chicago south suburbs.

Visitation Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, February 24, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Christian Reformed Church, 8383 W. 171st St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 are appreciated.
