Ramona E. "Mona" Jensen, nee Cox, age 85, beloved wife for 70 years to Raymond A. Jensen, Sr. Loving mother of Dawn (George) Vlachos, Wendy (Robert Jr. ) Gallagher, Raymond Jensen, Jr., Wanda Beninato, Mark Jensen and John (Jeanne) Jensen. Cherished grandmother of Ramona Warner, Raymond (Meaghan) Warner, Shannon (Andrew) Rehs, Robert III (Cassandra) Gallagher, Amy (Brian) Giaretta, Katelyn Beninato, Taylor (Kevin) McCormack, and Denton Beninato. Dearest great-grandmother of Finnegan and Fiona Warner; Emileigh and Ryan Gallagher; Cooper and Lincoln Rehs; Olivia, Brooklyn, Harrison, Rowan and Willow Giaretta; and Liam McCormack. Preceded in death by her siblings Grace Pierce, Robert Cox, Charlotte Jensen and Mildred Kermer. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mona was a devoted Christian Baptist who dedicated her life to being a housewife and homemaker, raising six children. She was not only a talented artist, finding solace in painting, but also skilled in sewing. Her love for flowers shone through her work, adding beauty to her creations. Mona also had a special love for animals, both big and small. Her legacy lives on in the beauty she created, the love she shared, and the creatures she cherished.

Visitation Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
