Primitivo "Primo" Rodriguez, Jr., age 79, beloved husband for 55 years to Marilyn, nee Barger. Loving father of Michelle (Scott) Sarkan, Brandon (Johanna) Rodriguez and the late Jason Rodriguez. Cherished grandfather of Madison, Halie, Tyler and Haydn. Dear brother of Anna Rodriguez, Francisca Molina and Sixto Rodriguez. Fond brother-in-law of the late Ervin Barger. Dear tìo of many nieces and nephews.

Primo was a Cross Country State Champion at Lane Tech High School. He worked in the corporate world for a short time and then became a Dean at Andrew High School. From there, he taught Spanish at several local high schools including Sandburg, Andrew, Queen of Peace, Brother Rice and finally Rich Central High School. If you were ever chased down the hall by Sènior Rodriguez, count yourself lucky.

Visitation Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Parkview Christian Church Chapel, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon.  Park in the EAST lot to Enter.  Go to the Chapel on the 2nd floor.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
