Petronella Ciotti

Petronella V. Ciotti, nee Yankus, age 99, beloved wife of Leo J. Ciotti (1992). Loving mother of Lee Ann Hedeen. Cherished grandmother of Karen Choudhury and Spencer Hedeen. Dearest great-grandmother (GiGi) of Jordan, Miranda, Danielle, and Ethan. Preceded in death by her siblings Ann Solesha, John Yankus, Elizabeth Turner, Ruth Nichol, Antoinette Nowakowski, and Peter Yankus. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Petronella was a faithful church member and tireless worker for over 50 years both in Pittsburgh, PA and two churches in Chicago, IL. She helped everyone around her whether relative, friend or neighbor and was well loved by everyone. She enjoyed traveling and remembers fondly her trip to Israel and her baptism in the Jordan River. Petronella lived in her home in Pittsburgh, PA for 62 years before moving to Orland Park, IL for the last six years to be closer to family.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and for the safety of the family and community, a private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Colonial Chapel.
