Loving father of Bonnie (Steve) Leffring, Ken (Jamie), Bette (Tom) Van Kuiken, and the late Peter W. (Jenise). Cherished grandfather of 18. Dearest great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Jennie (late Clarence) Laning, Ida (late Ray) Boss, Arthur (Lorraine), Derk (Jan), Marilyn (Bill) Van Howe, and the late Claus "Bud" (late Alice), Hank (Dena), Tracy (late Peter) Herlein and John Sr. "Dub" (Marilyn). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
