Pauline C. Roon, nee Horneman, age 82, at rest on October 26, 2011. She is survived by her husband John Roon, children Janice (Pete) Bristol, Judy (Pete) DeYoung, Paula Winkler, Rhonda (Gary) Rastelli, nine stepchildren, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sisters Gerda Van Howe, Clara Hamstra, Jean Slinkman, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pauline was preceded in death by her previous husband Robert N. Winkler, her son Ron Winkler, and her sisters Tillie Van Kuiken and Dorothy Jager. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 3-9PM The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL. Memorials to help purchase hearing aids for Paula Winkler are appreciated and may be given to Gary Rastelli of 4316 Armstrong Rd. Springfield, TN 37172.
