Patrick Rafferty

Patrick J. "Pat" Rafferty, age 82, Illinois Air National Guard Veteran. Beloved husband for 58 years to Bonnie, nee Daunis. Loving father of Karen (David) Barbarek, Denise (Mark) Atchley, Christine (Mark) Robinson and the late Jennifer. Cherished grandfather of Samantha and Ryan Barbarek; Payton and Cameron Robinson. Dear brother of John Rafferty, Kathleen (Mel) Stiles and the late Theresa Lux and the late Thomas Rafferty, Jr. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Pat was a long time and active parishioner of St. Michael Church in Orland Park. He was also a very active member of the American Legion Orland Memorial Post #111 serving as chaplain, financial officer, adjutant, and a member of the Honor Guard. He was also the chaplain of the American Legion 8th District.

Visitation Monday, April 12, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. Funeral Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. from Colonial Chapel to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462. Mass 11:30 a.m. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

Interment private with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
