Patrick “Pat” Reidy   November 3, 1942 – November 21, 2020

Visitation  for Mr. Reidy will take place Friday November 27th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Maher Funeral Home 17101 71st Avenue Tinley Park Illinois 60477.(1 Block East of Harlem on 171st Street). Friends and family will meet Saturday morning at 11:00 AM directly at St. James at Cal Sag bridge Catholic Church, 10600 South Archer Avenue Lemont Illinois 60439 for Funeral Mass of Christian Burial. He will be laid to rest at Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery of Orland Park. In lieu of flowers please have Mass said for Pat.

MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE VISITATION AND NO MORE THAN 25 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL CHAPEL AT ONE TIME.

MASKS ARE ALSO REQUIRED FOR THE FUNERAL MASS.

** INSIDE CHURCH SEATING IS RESERVED FOR FAMILY. THERE ARE TWO BUILDINGS AVAILABLE FOR OVERFLOW, AS WELL AS OUTDOOR SEATING WITH SPEAKERS OR GUESTS CAN STAY IN THEIR CARS AND VIEW THE FUNERAL MASS FROM THE LIVE STREAM (LINK IS PROVIDED BELOW) . ALL THIS IS ALL BEING DONE WITH ACCORDANCE TO THE CDC GUIDELINES OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS AND THE  ARCHDIOCESE OF CHICAGO.

Patrick “Pat” Reidy, 78 of Lemont formerly of Hickory Hills and Chicago, passed away peacefully Saturday evening November 21st at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Peggy (nee MacFarlane) for over 53 years. Loving dad of Pat “P.J.” (Sandra) Reidy, Terri (the late Mike) Ruddy, Tracee (Sean) Bruin, Colleen Reidy , and Katie Reidy. Proud Grampa of Mick, Conor, Danny, Jack, Luke, Kevin, Clare, Shane, and Rosie. Dearest son of the late Andrew “Lefty” Reidy and Phyllis Reidy. Brother of Maureen (the late Fred) O’Reilly. Son in law of the late Alex and Anne MacFarlane. Fond brother-in-law and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proud member of The United States Coast Guard ’60-’64 as well as The Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 281 for 37 years. Pat will be missed by family and countless friends.
