Patricia A. (Reaume) Lynch

Patricia “Pat” Anne Lynch (nee Reaume), aged 83, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Beloved daughter of William S. and Jeanette A. (Gottmann). Cherished wife of the late Joseph N. Lynch. Devoted Mother of Maureen (David) Thamm, Richard (Vickie), and Thomas (Sandi). Loving Sister of Reverend Michael Reaume, S.M. and the late Mary E. (John) Riley. Dearest Grandmother of 9. Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Devoted friend to many.

Born on July 17, 1941, in Waukegan, Illinois, Pat dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 64 years, and their three children. Pat’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Pat and Joe went to his Senior Prom in 1956 and the rest was magical history. Her homemade chocolates and cookies were legendary in the neighborhood. Pat’s love for nurturing things was also evident in her beautiful garden, which she lovingly tended. She loved wildlife and in particular, her precious cardinals were frequent visitors to her many feeders. Her door was always open for the neighborhood kids and her listening ear and sage advice made her a confidante of many. She loved to play rummy and pinochle and was an avid reader. She was a wonderful cook and was known for her delicious Sunday family dinners and her collections of recipes. She loved to spend her days at garage sales and was always happy to meet new people. After Joe’s retirement, they loved traveling the world or going to Las Vegas for mini-family reunions.

VISITATION: Friday, June 27, 2025 at 9:00 am. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave., Mokena. FUNERAL: immediately following visitation.  INTERMENT: Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in Patricia’s name to the Lions Club or Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
