Nancy J. Plucinski

November 13, 1957 — July 11, 2025

Nancy J. Plucinski, nee Splawski, age 67, beloved wife for 46 years to Gerald L. Plucinski. Loving sister of Jill (Brian) Roach, George (Susan) Splawski and the late Holly Testa. Survived by her brother-in-law Steve Plucinski and sister-in-law Colleen Plucinski. Dear aunt of Richard Splawski, Danielle (Chris) Smith, William Plucinski, Andrew Plucinski, Dawn (Michael) Merlo and Joshua Plucinski.

From her earliest days, she had a special connection with the world around her. Animals were drawn to her, sensing her warmth and compassion. Horses and ponies, with their quiet strength, reflected her own gentle power. Dogs found in her a loyal friend, always ready with a kind word or a soft touch. Even the koi fish in her beautiful backyard pond seemed to swim a little closer when she was near, and the birds would sing a bit sweeter in her presence. Flowers bloomed brighter under her care, as if they, too, recognized her nurturing soul.

But her love wasn't reserved just for animals and nature. She gave it freely to all of us--her family and friends too. She was the one we turned to in times of need, the one who always seemed to know what to say or do. Her intelligence was remarkable, but it was her wisdom and understanding that made her truly exceptional. She could solve a problem, calm a storm, or make us feel safe when we needed it most.

She taught us the value of patience, the importance of kindness, and the beauty of seeing the world through gentle eyes. She showed us how to care deeply and live fully. Her presence was a gift we were lucky to receive.

Though our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind--the laughter, the stories, the quiet moments spent together in the backyard garden or by the pond, watching the world with wonder. She lives on in every flower that blooms, in every bird that sings, in every act of kindness we share with others.
