Nadine Applegate

Nadine R. Applegate, nee Tibstra, age 83, beloved wife for 62 years to the late Robert V. "Bob" Applegate. Loving mother of Cynthia (David Robertson) Applegate, Susanne (John) Higgins, Mary (Steve) Applegate-Busse, Jim (Connie) Applegate and Dan (Lisa) Applegate. Cherished grandmother of Dana (Brett) Rowe, Sarah (Chris) Hall, Amy (Bijan) Mahlouji, Michelle Applegate, Jenna Applegate, Ben Applegate, and Grace Applegate. Dearest great-grandmother of Kaydence, Eliana, Hudson, and Levi. Dear sister of Dennis (Marge) Tibstra and Dean (Betty) Tibstra.

Nadine was a CNA at Christ Hospital and Rest Haven/Providence Healthcare. She also provided in-home care for many people in the community. Nadine was passionate about belonging to Coffee Break Ministry.

Memorial Visitation for Nadine and her husband Robert will be held at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463 on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of their Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.

On Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL a Committal Service will be held for both Nadine and Robert along with Military Honors for Robert.
