Murad Jurishi

Murad Yasin Jurishi, age 41, of Midlothian, Illinois, passed away on April 18, 2025.

Murad was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Outgoing, optimistic, and full of humor, he had a way of making people feel at ease with his infectious laugh and kind heart. He lived with generosity, sincerity, and a deep love for the people around him.

Murad was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sherlynn Jurishi, and his sister, Shereen Jurishi. He is survived by his children, Joshua Jurishi and Aya Jurishi; his father, Walid Jurishi; his brother, Daniel Jurishi, and sister-in-law, Frances Jurishi; and his cherished niece, Reyna Jurishi—as well as many cousins and friends who were like family to him.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and the kind of warmth that will never be forgotten.

A memorial service to celebrate Murad’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4041 W 120th St, Alsip, IL 60803. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
