Mildred Janet Spencer
April 8, 1927 — January 9, 2017
Mildred Janet "Jan" Spencer, nee Van Wormer, age 89, beloved wife of the late Kieran "K.O." Spencer (2005). Loving mother of Cheryl (Tom) Norman and Gregory Spencer. Cherished grandmother of Deanna Hayden, Beth (Brett) Hartney, Katy, Abby, Natalie Norman as well as several great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Jan retired from Marshall Field's in 1997 after working there for 21 years. She enjoyed getting together with the Marshall Field's retirees, the Palos Heights Senior Citizen Club, and playing bridge with her friends.
Visitation Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Fairmount - Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
