Mildred E. “Millie” Hewitt, nee Yount, age 87, of Orland Park, IL, formerly of Jackson, MI, quietly and peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 21, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Gerald F. Hewitt (2003). Loving mother of Ruth Ellen (Terry) Howdyshell, Nathan (Adele) Hewitt, Martha (Thomas) Murphy and Jonathan (Dana) Hewitt. Cherished grandmother of David (Heather), Katherine, Conor, Nolan, and Erik (Danielle). Dear great-grandmother of Braden, Brody and Merrik. Fond sister of the late Maxine (late Donald) Huff, the late Louie (Melvena) Yount and the late Robert (Betty) Yount. Dearest aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Former S.I.M. missionary to Nigeria.
