Michael A. Harder, age 67, of Round Lake Beach, IL, beloved husband for 38 years to Suzanna, nee Portillo. Loving father of Brenden (Drew), Ryan (Holly), Tiffany and Matthew (Leslie). Cherished grandfather of Leon, Nolan and Isla. Dear brother of Larry (Carol) Harder, Barb (Joe) Spillman, David (Kelly) Harder, Susan (Ellis) Wright, Rosemary Harder, Cynthia (Jeff) Lewis and the late John Harder. Fond son-in-law of Elvira Portillo. Dearest brother-in-law of Victor (Sharon) Portillo. Much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Michael taught 4th grade at Gavin Central in Ingleside, IL for 15 years. Prior to teaching, he was a machinist at U.S. Tsubaki for 20 years. Michael was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and served as a pastor in various ministries.
Visitation Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12:00 Noon. Burial private.
