Michael G. Graver

Michael G. Graver, age 64, cherished son of the late Harry and Virginia Graver. Loving brother of Chris (Barbara) Graver, Harry "Hank" (Dianna Granata) Graver, Ann (Holly) Cook-Graver and the late Maria Graver. Dear uncle of Chris M. (Hannah) Graver, Maria Graver, H. Mitch Cook-Graver and grand nieces and nephews. Beloved longtime companion of Mona Lisa Nyman.

Mike was an alum of Oak Forest High School and Southern Illinois University. He was a friend of staff and residents of Shady Oaks in Homer Glen and he advocated for, protected and entertained his housemates. He was a loyal Bears fan and a frustrated White Sox fan. He never said “No” to a hamburger, chocolate milkshake and Oreos. He was an American history savant and the family historian with an extraordinary memory. He served as the glue that keeps his siblings together.

Visitation Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Visitation continues Monday, October 20, 2025 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. A live stream of the service will be available. The link will be posted shortly. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
