Michael Kevin Clark, born October 13, 1962, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026.
Michael was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Angela Clark (née Laverde), and a wonderful and selfless father to his son, Michael Joseph. His family was at the center of his life, and he cherished the time he shared with them. He was a man who gave so much of himself to the people he loved, always putting others before himself.
Michael spent many years working with and helping adults with disabilities, a career that reflected his caring nature, patience, and compassion for others. Later in his career, he brought his skills to the IT department of school districts, where he continued to make a difference through his work and the people he helped along the way.
Michael will be remembered most for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make people smile. He loved his many friends and could always be found bringing laughter and joy to those around him. His warmth, kindness, generosity, and friendship touched the lives of so many. He had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and loved, and the memories of the laughter he shared with others will remain with them forever.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Clark, and his son, Michael Joseph. He is also survived by his sisters Kathi and her husband, Gary Tilling; Jeanne and her husband, Steve Mott; his brother Mark and his wife, Shannon; his brother-in-law Joseph Laverde and his wife, Marion; and his sister-in-law Gina and her husband, Randy Switak.
He is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Tyler Tilling; Erin and her husband, Cameron Nafziger; Gina and her husband, Doug McDermott; Joseph and his wife, Elizabeth Laverde; John Laverde; Melissa and her husband, Scott Rubik; and Amy Switak.
He will also be remembered with love by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Parker Nafziger, Douglas McDermott, Violet McDermott, Matthew Rubik, Joshua Rubik, Madelyn Laverde, and Joseph Laverde.
Michael loved his family and friends deeply, and he was deeply loved in return. Although he is no longer with us, the laughter, kindness, love, and memories he gave to those around him will remain in our hearts. His life touched more people than he may ever have known, and he will never be forgotten.
