Matthew Charles Evers, age 34, beloved husband of Ivy Gootrad Evers. Loving future daddy of Parker Matthew Evers. Devoted and cherished son of David and Brenda (nee Gurganus) Evers. Loving brother of Michael and Mitchell. Dearest uncle of Elijah. Treasured grandson of Wilma Gurganus. Dear son-in-law of Peter and Linda Gootrad. Fond brother-in-law of Sara (Ryan) Greene and uncle of Ava. Dear friend, nephew and cousin of many. He is also survived by his faithful canine companions, Jet and Ella.

Matt was a 2009 Business graduate of Trinity Christian College and was a salesman for Baxter International in Deerfield, IL. He was an avid and passionate Chicago Cubs fan. Matthew loved many and was loved by many.

Visitation Friday, June 25, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. with a Service to follow at 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.

Interment private.
