Passed away  as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in October 2015.

Cherished father of Madeline and Reilly Durkin.

Beloved son of Mary Kay Durkin (nee Riordan) and the late Patrick Durkin (Ret CFD).

Loving brother of Eileen (Timothy Ret CFD) Hunt, Patricia, Maribeth (Michael Ret CFD) Owcarz, Susan (Patrick) Benson, Michael (Lisa) and Noreen (Gregory) Hannapel.

Extra Special uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many.

Proud Member of IBEW Local 134.

Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm.  Funeral Thursday 10:30am from the Maher Funeral Home Tinley Park 7051 W. 171st St. to Queen of Martyrs Church for Mass at 11:30am.
