Mary E. Peterson

Mary E. Peterson (nee Brooks) passed away April 2, 2021, surrounded by her family. Loving wife to the late Arnold Peterson. Preceded in death by her brother, the late James Brooks. Survived by her twin sister Martha Rychel and her children James (Sharon) Peterson, John Peterson, Robert (Tammy) Peterson, and her Grandchildren Lynette Peterson, Kathryn (Jerimiah) Howard, Jesse Peterson, Zachary Peterson, Robert Peterson, Jr., Tyler Peterson, Austin Peterson, Hannah Peterson, and Tyler Knight Peterson.

Mary worked as the Oak Forest, Illinois meter reader until her retirement. She kept herself busy during the last two years by going on cruises with her twin sister Martha and their line dancing group.

Mary leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to Mary's Church, the Church of the Southland, 17101 71st Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois.

Visitation Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois 60477. Tel: (708) 781-9212.
