Mary Ann Ochsenhofer

Mary Ann Ochsenhofer, nee Teubel, born October 18, 1928, entered eternal rest on May 24, 2024 at the age of 95 years, 7 months. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Herbert Ochsenhofer who passed on June 2, 2002. Loving mother of Judith Ann (Dennis) Kirscher, Kenneth Arthur Ochsenhofer (life partner Michael Horn) and the late Nancy Marie Ochsenhofer. Cherished grandmother of Kelly Marie (Morgan) Gansauer and Jamie Katherine Kirscher. Dear sister of the late Eleanor (late Bud) Newberg. Fond aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was a life long member of Peace Memorial Church, baptized in 1928, confirmed in 1942 and married there in 1949. Mary Ann sang in the choir and taught Sunday School at PMC. She also enjoyed the PMC bowling league and golf outings, receiving numerous awards and trophies in both. Mary Ann was an active member of the Women's Fellowship and Auxiliary, and the PMC Sportman's Club. In later years, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play softball in the PMC co-ed softball league. Mary Ann worked as a banquet server at West Lane Banquets and for ten years was in jewelry sales at McDade Inc.

Mary Ann lived at Peace Village for her last eight years, moving from Independent Living to the Memory Care Unit. She greatly loved her time there at the Village.

Visitation will be at Peace Memorial Church, 10300 W. 131st St., Palos Park, IL 60464 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Pastor Kirk Moore will be officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
