Marvin A. Rauch, age 92, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on June 8, 2024. Beloved husband for 67 years to Irene (nee Wischover). Loving father of Juanita (Lloyd) Striggow, Brenda (Terrence) Miller, Nancy (Claude) Poulsen, Lisa (Donald) Beyer and Heidi (companion Paul) Evans. Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Joy), Kimberly (Anthony Brutti), Brian (Stephanie), Phillip (Melissa) Striggow; Nicholas (Leigh), late Eric, Kyle (Kari) Miller; Kirk (Kaitlyn), Travis (Jessie) Poulsen; Amanda (Thomas) Beyer, Madison Beyer; Ashley (fiancé Evan) Evans, Blake Evans, Kelsey (Liam) Corley and Gavin Evans. Dearest great grandfather of Seth, Luke, Camden, Cayson Striggow; Knox, Brynn, Carter, Caden Miller; Kaleb Poulsen; Audrey, Amber, and Levi Beyer. Dear brother of Walter Jr. (Jean), Edna (late Royal) DeLair, Irene (late Robert) LaLonde, and the late Ralph (late Laurine), twins Clarence (late Stella) and Lawrence (Lenine), twins Erna (late Robert) Englehardt, Verna (late Vernon) Schuldt and Richard. Fond uncle and cousin of many.
Marvin served his country in the US Army from 1954 - 1956 in Okinawa. He retired from Local Union 150 as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Marvin's commitment to his family was unwavering, as he took on odd jobs to ensure their well-being. Known for his exceptional skills as a Handyman, Marvin had the ability to fix anything his daughters brought his way.

Additional Visitation Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St. Tinley Park, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Interment Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, Monee, IL.
