Mark J. Soder, age 57, of Midlothian, IL at peace on July 23rd, 2022. Loved husband of Natasha Peifer-Soder. Beloved son of Ret. Col. and Mrs. Ludwig A. Soder of Palos Heights, IL, and sister Nancy and Christian Bigelow.
He is remembered fondly for his kindness and generosity to all. He will be missed by family, nieces, nephews and cousins and a wide circle of friends and co-workers.
Mark loved the magic of his chosen career in chemistry. He was a passionate golfer and loved the world that travel opened to him. He was known for his quick wit, perfect lawn, and master grilling techniques. He loved a challenging bridge game and the reward of winning. Most of all Mark loved people.
Mark is a 1987 graduate of St. Mary’s University of Winona, MN.
Mark was committed through and through to the American Red Cross mission and made a lasting impact on many through his work there.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be taking place on August 13, 2022 at the Church of the Transfiguration, 12219 S. 86th Ave., Palos Park, IL at 3pm, reception to follow.
