Mario P. Cascio

Mario P. Cascio, age 74, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Orland Park, Illinois. A proud United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, Mario served his country with honor and dedication. He was a father to Amy (Josh Hines), Kelly (Brian McCarthy), and Michael (Kara). Mario was also a grandfather to Byrdie, Oakton, Sonny and Fallyn. Brother to Frank (Mary) Cascio and Nancy (George Hylaszek). Uncle to Frank Cascio Jr. and Heather Hylaszek. Preceded in death by his parents Carlo and Zulema (Sally) Cascio and nephew Kevin Hylaszek. A friend to many, his memory will be treasured by those who knew him.

Visitation Monday, April 27, 2026 from 3-6 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
