Marilyn Hamm

Marilyn Hamm, nee Cox, age 89, of New Lenox, IL formerly of Frankfort, IL passed away January 9, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Hamm (1979). Loving mother of Leonard "Todd" (Mary) Hamm, Richard (Suntheary) Hamm and Susan (Paul) Monreal. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Hamm, Bryan Hamm, Kari (Nicholas) Hamm, William Monreal, Amie Monreal and Rebecca Monreal. Dearest sister of the late Laura (late Dale) Tipple. Devoted daughter of the late Joe and Bessie (nee Leight) Cox. Dear friend of many.

Marilyn was born in Middletown, OH. She graduated from Middletown High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Ohio. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha, Kappa Phi, Association of University Women and Illinois Education Association. She taught for nine years in Ohio and for 23 years in Frankfort, IL. Marilyn was an active member of the United Methodist Church of New Lenox, IL and participated in both the Friendship Group and Lydia Circle.

A Service for Marilyn will be held at a later date.
