Marie Grace Doot, nee Rysdam, age 82, beloved wife for 56 years to the late Peter E. Doot (2010). Loving mother of Guy (Jennifer), Dr. Shane (Sandy), and Paige (Ron) Boersma. Dear grandmother of Emma, Owen, Cory (Ben), Alyssa, Peter, Philip, Raymond, Jacqueline and the late Ashley. Fond sister of Dr. Irwin Rysdam.
Long-time member of Mt. Greenwood Reformed Church. Former employee of Ford Motor Company.
Marie was an active member of the Chicago Christian High School Alumni Committee, volunteered at Palos Community Hospital and enjoyed quilting as a hobby for the past 40 years.
Visitation Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 3-8 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Beverly Cemetery.
