Maria Roeda, nee Wierenga, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Loving mother of Liz Slager, Steve Roeda, and Chris Roeda. Cherished grandmother of William III (Karla) Slager, Liza (Dustin) Adkins, Scott Slager and Diana Slager. Dearest great-grandmother of William IV, David, Henry, Mitchell and Calvin Slager; Dutch, Della and Duke Adkins. Dear sister of Janet (late Dave) Steenwyk and Karl (Esther) Wierenga . Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Beloved friend of many. Former wife of the late Mel Roeda.

Visitation Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Fairmount - Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
