Marguerite "Peg" (Cusack) Brennan

Marguerite Therese Brennan was born in 1944 in Chicago, IL and passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024 in Tinley Park, IL. Peg met Tom Brennan in 1965 at Montgomery Wards and they married in 1966. Together they built a life a family that included eight children: Marie Devine (Derek), Cathy Bunn (Jack), Margie Hesse (Rick), Mary Begley (Jim), Tom Brennan, Dan Brennan (Nicole), Matt Brennan and Bill Brennan (Lindsay). She has 21 grandchildren: Heather Merritt (Scott), Matt Bunn, Katelyn Irgang (Mike), Brittany Agostinelli (Jim), Casey Tarnowski, Ryan Bunn, Peggy Tarnowski (Jake), Tom Hesse, Abbygail Tate (Sean), Bailey Brennan, Jimmy Begley (Nicole), Tommy Brennan (Luke), Liam Begley, Maggie Begley, Aidan Brennan, Meghan Brennan, Bridget Brennan, Kathleen (Bean) Begley, Owen Brennan, Rory Brennan and Patrick Brennan and 7 great grandchildren: Jahdoni Mendoza, Mason Merritt, Calum Ring, Isla Irgang, Amelia Agostinelli, Morgan Merritt, and JJ Agostinelli. Peg was also the older sister of Denny Cusack and was also the aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Peg is survived by her second husband, Bob Whitman (married in 2012) with whom she shared many travel adventures throughout their marriage.

Peg is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Brennan, her mother Mary Cusack, her father Walter Cusack, her sister Mary Ann Ryan, her mother-in-law Esther Brennan, her father-in-law Harold Brennan.

Visitation Thursday, March 7th, 3-8pm.  Funeral Friday, 9:15am prayers at the funeral home departing to St. George Catholic Church for a 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment Holy Sepulchre.
