Margaret Mary "Peggy" Sandler age 93. Cherished mother of Carol (Jeffrey Rehus) Sandler, Daniel (Christy) Blanco, Joann (David) Baker and the late Patrick Sandler. Proud grandmother of Colleen (David) Kedzierski, Joseph Doria, Cherie (Chris Haenke) Doria, Lawrence Doria, Noelle Blanco, Manuel Blanco and Annabelle Pack. Fond great grandmother of eight. Loving sister of Marion Mulpeter.

Peggy had a remarkable way of making people feel like friends, even if they had only just met. She was also deeply proud of her Irish heritage, which was an important part of who she was and something she carried with great love and pride throughout her life. Peggy will be remembered for the lives she touched, the friendships she formed and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.

A Celebration of Peggy's life will be held on September 19, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Crossroads Christian Church, 2312 Essington Rd., Joliet, IL.
