Manning Munis, age 77, U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, late of Orland Park, former long-time resident of the East Side. Beloved husband of Nancy, nee Mikolasko, for 35 years. Devoted son of the late Samuel and Mary, nee Mirich. Loving brother of Sarah Mergesky. Dear brother-in-law of John Mikolasko and Mary Lynch. Dearest uncle of Susan (Bruce) Bishop, Samuel Mergesky, Julie (Martin) Seifert and Thomas Mikolasko. Cherished great uncle of Tarah, Alissa, and Daniel Bishop; Christine and Leah Seifert. Fond nephew and cousin of many. Manning worked at Commonwealth Edison for nearly 41 years. He was a Mason for over 50 years and a lifetime member of Palace Lodge 765 A.F. & A.M., Lansing, IL, and a member of the American Legion of Chicago, Post 118. Visitation Friday, July 2, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, July 3, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
