Lynda Kay Packard (nee Bronkhorst) of Vero Beach, Florida passed away June 2nd, 2023. Lynda was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 14th, 1952 to Henry and LaVerne Bronkhorst. She was a resident of Vero Beach, Florida for 7 years, having previously resided in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She graduated from Evergreen Park High School in 1970. She was married to Thomas J. Packard on July 6, 1974.
Lynda is survived by Tom Packard; sons Mark and Thomas Packard; their wives Sharon and Natalie, and grandchildren William and Ryan Packard. She is also survived by her brothers William and Mark Bronkhorst; their wives Carol and Jill; and aunt Joann Maceikis.
Lynda had been a resident of Vero Beach, Florida for 7 years, coming from Glen Ellyn, Illinois. During her marriage Lynda resided in Wheaton, IL; Grand Rapids MN; Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH; Scott AFB, Bellville, IL; Rhein-Main AB, Frankfort, West Germany, Eglin AFB, Fort Walton Beach, FL; Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS; and Baudette AFS, Baudette, MN.
Visitation Monday, June 26, 2023 at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the service will be available.
