Louis "Curt" Kananowicz

Louis "Curt" Kananowicz 48, (Ret. U.S.M.C.) after an illness.  Beloved son of Kathy (Greg) Olsen (nee Angerhofer) and Louis Kananowicz Sr..  Cherished fiance of Magdalena Gazdowicz. Loving brother of Dennis (Mag D.) and Shirley Bunn.  Fond uncle of Bo and Krystal.  Curt enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking and appreciating nature.  He was especially fond of the scenic beauty found only in Alaska, and enjoyed the serenity and inner peace it afforded.  He was a man of strong beliefs and stood by his convictions, and with his outgoing personality and values instilled by the USMC (which he was quite proud of) he was at the ready to serve not only his country but his fellow man in all just causes.  He accomplished much in life, earning a Master's Degree in Nursing to help the sick, injured and infirm. Visitation Saturday and Sunday, November 13th and 14th, from 3-8pm.  Cremation private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated. Info.: 708 781 9212
