Loretta (Wingering) Madix

Loretta Madix (nee Wingering) age 92, late of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully on June 19, 2019.

Loretta was a retired Executive Secretary, who loved spending time with her family and traveling the world. She was a member of both the Frankfort and Park Forest garden clubs, a member of Women in Construction, former volunteer at the Rialto Theatre, Shepherd’s Table and PADS in Joliet.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband John Madix. She is survived by her daughter Gail Sinnott (Robert), son Brian Madix (Patrice), grandchildren; Tisha Evans (Mike) & Michael Alvarez, great -grandchildren; Austin & Sydney Evans.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Ave, Tinley Park.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort. Interment immediately following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort.

Because of Loretta's love of gardening, she had requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in kind be made to the Garden Club of Park Forest.
