Larry graduated from Schurz High School, class of 1956. He was a proud Navy veteran, having served for seven years and seven months. Larry was a punctual, hardworking man who didn’t miss more than a handful of days of work in his 40 years of employment in the steel and paper industries. He was a follower of Christ and an avid sports fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, and especially The Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He loved his morning local newspapers, which he religiously bought and read for decades, visiting historical sites in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and old Western movies.
Larry was an outgoing, friendly, kind, and decent man. He will be deeply missed by anyone and everyone who ever met him.
