Lisa Marie O'Doran

January 16, 1961 — October 14, 2025

"Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23

Our hearts are heavy as we celebrate the beautiful life of Lisa Marie O’Doran, who passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025.

Lisa was born on January 16, 1961, to Donald and Florence Jacobs. She grew up alongside her siblings John (Peggy), Gary (Pam), and Gwen (Jim). From an early age, Lisa had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. She made everyone feel seen, heard, and cared for through her genuine heart of service.

On September 21, 1985, Lisa married the love of her life, Michael O’Doran. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, faith, and devotion-- a true example of love and commitment. Lisa was a proud and loving mom to her three daughters, Kayla, Kelsey, and Shayna, who were her whole world. She poured her heart into raising them by always showing up, always being present, and always leading with love.

Lisa’s life was guided by her deep and unwavering faith. Every act of love, kindness, and service was for God’s glory. She was devoted to living a life that reflected Jesus’ light, and her gentle spirit shone as a constant reminder of His love and grace. Lisa truly lived her faith, embodying the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Lisa spent many cherished years as a stay-at-home mom, treasuring every moment of her girls’ childhoods. Later, she followed her heart into teaching preschool, where her warmth, patience, and joy touched the lives of so many little ones and their families.

One of Lisa’s greatest joys in life was being “Grammy” to her beloved grandchildren: Jez, Eden, Zeke, and Hazel. She adored each of them and never missed a chance to show up for them. Whether she was cheering at wrestling and boxing matches, watching gymnastics routines and basketball games, or spending peaceful moments fishing and laughing by the water, she was always there, so proud and so full of love.

She had a beautiful way of making life sweeter just by being in it. Lisa made everyone feel like they mattered by always checking in, asking how she could pray for them, or dropping by with a small gift or homemade treat to remind them they were loved. She taught us all how important it is to slow down, savor the moment, and simply show up for one another, just as she believed Christ would do for his people.

Lisa leaves behind her loving husband Michael, her daughters Kayla (Lalo), Kelsey (Meechy), and Shayna (Nic), her precious grandchildren Jez, Eden, Zeke, and Hazel, her siblings, and a lifetime of family and friends who will carry her spirit with them always.

Her light will continue to shine as a gentle reminder to be kind, to keep your faith at the center, and to show up for the people we love.
