Letitia Jess (Hogan) Savage

Letitia Jess Savage (nee Hogan) 96, of Venice, Fla., at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Anna (nee Hogan). Cherished wife of John Savage. Devoted mother of; Linda, the late John (Liz), Mary, Tish (late Edward), the late Tina (DaMingo) and Tom. Loving sister of; Eugene (Hap) Hogan and Dorothy (the late John) O'Shea. Dearest grandmother of the late Josephine, the late Nicole, and the late Thomas along with 27 other grandchildren. Dearest great-grandmother of8. Fond aunt cousin and friend to many. Letitia had a myriad of activities and hobbies.  She belonged to the Roy W. Nelson 1128 Ladies Auxiliary and past president of the 3rd District VFW Post. She also belonged to several senior citizen groups, was a mean pinochle player, loved shopping, and great at interior decorating.  She was skilled at and loved furniture refinishing, and enjoyed her vacations and parties at the house. Visitation Thursday, April 24, 3-8pm.  Interment Friday, family asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00am proceeding on their own to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Il. for a 12:30pm Committal Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Letitia's name to the Mercy Home For Boys And Girls greatly appreciated.
