Lea M. Luchini

Lea M. Luchini, nee Tonelli, age 103, beloved wife of the late August Luchini (1993). Loving mother of Adele (John) Kieken, Alice (Don Eggert) Luchini and Anita (late Greg) Gbur. Cherished grandmother of John W. Kieken, Laura (Ron) Adamski, David Eggert, Katherine (Max) Heger, Jason (Wanda) Gbur, Andrew Gbur and Christopher Gbur. Dearest great-grandmother of Justin and Colton Adamski; Erica and Ashley Gbur; and Aster Heger. Preceded in death by her parents Emilio and Adele Tonelli and her sisters Norma (late Robert) Ceci and Irene Tonelli. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Lea enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting many beautiful items for her family and friends. She made sure her daughters knew how to thread a needle! Lea refused to let anything keep her from enjoying life.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Lea’s life will be held at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, IL on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
