Lavon Riewe

LaVon A. Riewe, age 88, US Army Korean War Veteran. Resident of Orland Park, formally of Chicago. Beloved and devoted husband for 46 years to the late Myrtle Leona "Lee" Riewe (Love) (2007). Dearest son of the late Paul and Minnie (Schroeder) Riewe. Preceded in death by his three brothers, two sisters, and their spouses; Harold (Helen) Riewe, Leonard (Geraldine) Riewe, Eleanore (Thomas) Wisneski, Paul "Red" (Dolly) Riewe, and LaVerne (Dale) Turman. Loving uncle to many nephews and nieces, both great and great great.

Von was a loving and hugging relative to his dearest "Riewe" family, the "Love" family and many, many good and dear friends and neighbors.

Visitation Monday, September 20, 2021 4-8PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 21, 2021 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 6850 W. 159th St. Tinley Park, IL. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Elwood, IL.
