Kevin Eugene Laverty (71 years old) of Frankfort; husband of 51 years to Chris Laverty (Jazwiec); cherished father of Tracey (Jeff) Battistoni of Frankfort; Kelly (Kevin) McMahon of McKinney, TX and Kim (Stash) Stefanek of Burbank. Beloved grandpa of Dan (Jacquelyn), Jim, Jack, Kyle, Samantha, Bryan, Gianna, AJ and Allison; Tyler, Zach, and Nathan; Paige and Blake. Great-Grandpa of JJ, Benjamin, Aaron, Clayton, and Max. Fondest son of the late Helen (O’Dell) and Eugene Laverty. Devoted brother of Karen (Art) Uher of McKinney, Texas and Carol (Gabe) Gabrano of Hammond, IN. Fond son-in-law of Dolores Jazwiec. Dearest brother-in-law to Steve (Sue), Cathy (Vito), Joe and Mike. Loving uncle of the Uher, Gabrano, Jazwiec and Troia children.

Kevin will be most remembered as the “famous” drummer in the Janus and UGODDAWANNA bands. He retired from Verizon formally GTE-Airfone. Kevin’s strength, determination, wit and fun-loving nature made him a friend to all. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 1-5p.m. with a Service to Celebrate Kevin’s Life to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
