Kathleen A. “Kathy” Hiott, nee Matevich, age 58, of Palos Heights, IL and Crown Point, IN. Beloved daughter of Chester J. and the late Eleanor B. (nee Balut) Matevich. Loving sister of Bill (Judy) Matevich. Cherished aunt of Jordan, Taylor, Shelby, and Evan. Dear niece and cousin of many. Kathy grew up in St. Bede’s Parish and attended Queen of Peace High School and Purdue University. She received her Master’s Degree at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and earned the AICPA – Elijah Watts Sells Award. Kathy worked for Arthur Young Accounting and MGIC in Milwaukee, and was Controller for Chicago Cable TV. Kathy then indulged her passion for books and music by working at Borders Books and Music in Orland Park, IL and Highland, IN. Visitation Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Monday, March 22, 2010 9:00 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Alexander Church.
